Best Villa in Jamaica for Large Family Groups

I love working on large family group trips. Getting grandparents, kids and grandkids together for a beach vacation is not only great fun, but an amazing opportunity to create treasured memories together. However, it’s not always easy to find the perfect accommodation option for these larger groups groups.

Almost always, without fail, these multigenerational groups are looking for the space and privacy of a villa, but desire the amenities of a large resort. While this set-updoes exist across the Caribbean, it’s not always at a price point that works for every family.

So this week when I was working with a fabulous family on an upcoming beach trip, I was SO excited to discover what I consider to be Jamaica’s best kept secret. This is one of THE best villas in Jamaica for large family groups.

Here’s why.

Great Value for Money

Working on villa or home rentals for families can often be tricky. Villas tend to offer more value for money vs a hotel or all inclusive resort, but lack the resort amenities everyone loves, including large pools, on site restaurants and kids clubs. This villa is priced at an incredibly reasonable $7,500 per week during non-peak weeks, and as a member of the Virtuoso network of travel designers I can get you some nice added benefits at no additional cost at this villa.

Plenty of Space

First of all, not every family is ok with sleeping together all in one hotel room. And for many families with more than 2 kids, all inclusive resorts simply are not an option (they don’t allow 3 kids in a standard room and the larger suite may be cost prohibitive.)  I know my family always prefers to have seperate sleeping areas for kids and parents, so villas tend to work best. This villa has 6 bedrooms, so plenty of room for the entire family to spread out.

This villa has a great open floor plan and indoor garden embraces the mountain breezes while enjoying amazing ocean views, built in a split-level design inspired by classic colonial architecture.

There are six newly renovated bedrooms (sleeping up to 12 people, another reason why this is one of the best villas in Jamaica for large family groups) which are split between the east and west wings of the villa. Each bedroom is air-conditioned, has a king size bed – which can be configured as a twin if required – and en suite bathroom finished in granite and marble with walk-in showers with rain heads.

The large airy living room with its clean white lines and comfortable furniture opens out to fabulous views of the sea, surrounding countryside and the beautiful pool deck. Meals can be enjoyed inside in the dining area adjacent to the indoor garden or outside on the pool terrace.

Resort Amenities Make for a Relaxing Trip

From this villa, you can walk to the resort’s tennis courts, gym, game room and kids club. And speaking of kids club, the kid’s club welcomes children from the ages of five and twelve years free of charge. Selected activities are also available to toddlers who are accompanied by babysitters.

The Kid’s Club programmes are available from 10.00 a.m. Monday to Saturday with a break for lunch from 12.00 noon to 1.00 p.m.

The numerous activities available include beach games, arts and crafts, face painting, scavenger hunt, sand castle competitions and the art of tie-dye. Nature walks introduce children to the many birds in the vicinity along with other wildlife in its natural habitat.

The villa is fully staffed with a butler, chef, gardener, laundress, maid and helper.

And priced from just $7,500 per week this is literally one of the most affordable villas of this size in the Caribbean so it books up quickly and well in advance (which is why I’m holding back some of the details here!)  Want more information on the best villa in Jamaica for large family groups?
